Our term long programme is a series of 8 sessions designed to teach your child the basics of using woodworking tools.  Children will work on small projects each week to improve their skills. 

During the term children will learn to safely use the following tools:

  • Hammers
  • Hand Drills
  • Hand Saws
  • Rasps
  • Vices
  • Clamps
  • Screwdrivers
  • Centre Punch
  • Rulers
  • Combination Squares
  • Chisels **skills assessed prior to use**

 

Class Dates & Times

Tuesdays (4.00 - 5.30pm) -July 28th, August 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, September 8th, 15th and 22nd

Wednesdays (2.00pm -3.30pm) - July 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, September 9th, 16th and 23rd

Wednesdays - (4.00 - 5.30pm) -  July 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, September 9th, 16th and 23rd

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES IN THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER.

 

Saturdays - (10.30am - 12.00pm) - August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, September 19th and 26th

Saturdays - (2.00pm - 3.30 pm) - August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, September 19th and 26th

PLEASE NOTE THE SATURDAY CLASS IS A SPLIT TERM AND THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON AUGUST 29th, SEPTEMBER 5th and 12th

 

If you have any questions about this, please contact Tracey prior to booking as once the Term starts refunds are not possible unless your child's place in the class can be filled.  Please read the Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

The term fee must be paid in full prior to the Term starting.

 

Your child can start at any stage through the term if space is available. Please contact Tracey directly to enrol part way through a term.

Classes are limited to small groups for an intimate and personalised learning experience.  A class will only go ahead with a minimum of three students. 

All materials, safety glasses, hearing protection and tools are included in the class.
