Small Carvings

Come along and be introduced to the relaxing art of whittling (or carving).  A great meditative past time, whittling has been around for centuries and all you need is a knife and a piece of wood! 

Children will go over the safety aspects involved in using a very sharp knife and then dive into creating their own small carving. We will be using bass wood as it is easy to carve, and children will get to choose from a few simple projects to work on.

      ***Minimum age for this class is 9 years old.  A small admin fee will be deducted from your refund if you book a child under the age of 9 into this class.***

Please note as this is only a 2 hour session, some children may not completely finish their carving.
